SCHEDULE FOR  May  18-22nd, 2009

 RELIGION:   We continue to study about Paul.


DOL-Daily Oral Language:  We are working with nouns, verbs,  adjectives, and adverbs.  The sentences are coming from Charlotte's Web.

ENGLISH:  Creative Writing: Butterbeary Books

We will finish Chapter IV and Chapter V.  Our books will be completed.
Spelling:    We  are more than half way through  Charlotte's Web.   We will have a test this Friday, May 22nd. (The words are from Charlotte's Web.)

Math:     We  continue to work on division, and are also working on geometry.

Reading:    We continue to read Charlotte's Web.  What a beautiful book,  the children love it as do I.

Science:    We  are working  on the Invention Unit.  There  will be two more inventions.   The last invention will be the big one.   The children will be given two weeks to do it.  Then we will have our invention convention.  We will share our inventions with several classes.  Parents are welcome to come.

 The Invention Convention will be Wednesday,  May 27th.  (Please do not start the final invention until the information for it comes home.)

All students should have their idea for their invention oked by me by this Tuesday, May 19th.   They were to brainstorm over the weekend and present their idea to me on Monday, May 18th.  It was their homework for this last weekend.

Book Reports:  The  May Book Report is the student's choice.  It is due May 22nd.  The project is a kite.

MASS:  Friday, May 15th.
